
Sesame Steak On Pea Puree

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1x 300g sirloin steaks, trimmed of fat
- Black pepper
- ½ cup frozen peas (microwaved for 5 minutes)
- 1 tsp fresh mint
- 2 ½ tbsp plain Greek yoghurt
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- Juice of half lemon
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp toasted pine nuts

Method
Place sesame seeds on a large plate and press the steak down on the seeds to coat them on each side.
For the pea puree throw all the ingredients into a food processor and whizz until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat a tsp coconut oil in a large, non stick frying pan over a medium heat. Seat the steak for a few minutes on each side. Remove from heat. Depending if you like the steak rare, take the meat out straight away. If you prefer the meat a little more done, leave in the pan for a little longer.
Serve the steaks over a layer of pea puree and garnish with a few toasted pine nuts.
