Slender Green Berry Smoothie

Ingredients

  • FOR THE BERRIES-MIXTURE
  • 1/2 cup halved strawberries
  • 2 scoops strawberry or vanilla slender blend
  • 
3 tbsp natural greek yogurt
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • FOR THE KALE-MIXTURE
  • 
1 cup kale
  • 
1 green apple
  • 3 tbsp greek yog
  • 
300ml almond/coconut milk
  • 
1 cup crushed ice

Method

  • 1. Combine strawberries in a bowl and place in the freezer for 20 minutes.
  • 2. In a blender, combine kale, apple slices, yogurt, and crushed ice; blend until creamy and smooth then place in the freezer for 20 minutes.
  • 3. Rinse blender; combine strawberries, yogurt, protein powder and ice; blend until creamy and smooth.
  • 4. Remove prepared smoothies from freezer.
  • 5. Pour the strawberry mixture over the kale mixture.
  • 6. Serve immediately
