Spiced Pear Crisps


  • 1 tsp PW coconut oil
  • 2 firm pears (such as Rocha)
  • 1/2 tsp mixed spice

  • Preheat oven to 140°C
  • Place coconut oil in baking tray and allow to melt
  • Thinly slice pears width ways into round slices – pick out any pips
  • Place pear slices into baking tray and coat with coconut oil
  • Sprinkle over the spice mix, and evenly coat
  • Transfer the pear slices to a grill tray and place into the oven
  • Bake for 40 minutes and then turn slices, bake for a further 30 – 40 minutes or until crisp
  • Leave to cool and crisp further
