What kind of Protein is in your Pasta?
It was important to us to develop a pasta that was high in protein, vegan, and soy-free, but still looked and tasted like your go-to pasta dish!
This is made possible by our protein source: pea protein concentrate. This pasta also contains ALL essential amino acids - the building blocks for protein that your body can't make on its own.
Why our Pasta isn't gluten free?
High protein pastas can be made both with and without gluten.
But if you don’t add gluten, you need to add egg so the noodles maintain their structure.
Because our Protein Pasta is vegan, we have to rely on wheat flour to maintain stability. Without gluten, our noodles wouldn’t stay noodle-y enough.
How to use
How to use:
- Bring a large saucepan of lightly salted water to the boil
- Add pasta, stir and simmer for 10-12 minutes
- Drain and serve immediately.
